By accessing and using Drop CLI ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

Drop CLI provides a file sharing service that allows users to upload and share files temporarily. The service is provided "as is" and "as available."

• Maximum file size: 10 GB
• File retention: 3 days
• Files are automatically deleted after expiration
• No user accounts or registration required

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not upload any content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Not upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
• Not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates any laws
• Not abuse or overload the Service infrastructure
• Not attempt to circumvent any security measures
• Not use the Service for phishing, spam, or malicious activities

4. Prohibited Content

You may not upload files containing:

• Copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Personal information of others without consent
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Illegal content including but not limited to child exploitation material
• Content that violates intellectual property rights
• Hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Spam or unsolicited promotional material

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice.

5. Content Ownership and License

You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By uploading content, you grant Drop CLI a temporary, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and deliver your files for the duration of the 3-day retention period.

This license terminates automatically when your files expire or are deleted.

6. Privacy and Data

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

• Files are automatically deleted after 3 days
• Files are deleted immediately after download
• We do not scan or access your file contents
• We collect minimal metadata for service operation

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance and updates
• Technical issues or outages
• Force majeure events
• Third-party service provider issues

We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or consequences resulting from service unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for lost data, profits, or business interruption
• We are not liable for unauthorized access to or alteration of your files
• Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD

9. Security

While we implement reasonable security measures to protect your files, no internet-based service can be 100% secure. You acknowledge that:

• File links are not password-protected
• Anyone with the download link can access your file
• You should not upload highly sensitive or confidential information
• You are responsible for keeping download links private

10. Intellectual Property

The Drop CLI service, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Service code or design
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission
• Create derivative works based on the Service

11. Abuse and Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against users who violate these terms, including:

• Removing offending content
• Suspending or blocking IP addresses
• Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
• Cooperating with legal investigations

12. DMCA and Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content hosted on our Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• The download link to the infringing content
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief
• Your physical or electronic signature

Note: Files automatically expire after 3 days or upon first download.

13. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses third-party infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Backblaze B2) for hosting and storage. These providers have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services or policies.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

16. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
